Halfway Done: Encapsulating My Experiences
Halfway Done: Encapsulating My Experiences
Everything that has happened during the first and second quarter felt like they all just happened yesterday. Writing my second reflection is a bitter-sweet experience. It means that I am now halfway towards the end and to a new beginning.
To start I'd like to say that this quarter taught me a lot of lessons. It also gave me lots of new experiences. Such as measuring my distance from a trash can. Kidding aside, this quarter, I also got to experience to join another extracurricular activity. Which was to deliver an extemporaneous speech. I remember when I joined the audition, I didn't even know the reason why I was there. Fortunately, it was fun interacting with other students from different schools.
Moreover, of course it is normal for an individual to face challenges. Having to review for quizzes of three subjects, reporting, acting, and having to go home late to practice, all in just a day is indeed exhausting. I also experienced worrying about my academic tasks as I was excused often from our classes. Nevertheless, I am glad that I was able to catch up regardless of all the obstacles that I came across because I have my friends by my side who are always willing to help me. I learned that putting efforts to academic tasks is important so that I won't have any regrets on the outcome of my performances.
Moving on, I promise to myself that I will continue on doing great not just in my academic performance, but to all of the aspects of my life. The challenges that I've faced taught me skills and lessons that I will surely use in the future. There are a lot more to come.
To conclude, I am thankful that I survived this quarter together with my friends and classmates. I don't actually know what to feel with the phrase "Halfway done", but I think I can relate it to the quote "Malayo pa, pero malayo na." A lot of challenges are yet to come, but I'm sure that whatever it is, we can overcome and conquer it, right?
