Unveiling The Tapestry Of My Real Identity

        Whenever I ask my friends about how would they describe me, they always answer with the same words, "short", "smart", and "jolly". But as I look deeper into myself, I am proud to say that my two main qualities are: Reliable and Unstoppable. According to dictionaries, "reliable" means being consistently good in quality. It also equates to being able to be trusted. While being "unstoppable" means not giving up immediately. But to me, these definitions are just words and I am more than that.

 

        To dig deeper, let me explain why I am reliable. Since elementary, I always contribute in activities that can improve my leadership skills. And being a student leader continued until now, up to the present. I conditioned myself into believing that I am a good leader. It always touched my heart how my previous classmates in 9th grade labeled me as their "best president". I do not take their labeling as a mockery, instead it gives me positivity. I would always feel proud whenever they call me "Pres", shortened term for president, since I know to myself that I did my best in leading them throughout the school year. And even though time will pass, I am always genuine and willing to be a pillar of support to the people around me.

     Second, I'd like to shine up the light to my other description of myself which is unstoppable. This aspect of my identity signifies an unyielding determination to pursue my goals in life. Whenever I set a goal, I always put in mind the success that I'll experience if I keep pushing myself to work hard. Life's obstacles may slow me down but those obstacles will never deter me down from my path. Because that's life, not every moment is within your comfort zone, sometimes the destiny's got to challenge you. 

 

         To end, I hope those two simple words were enough to give an overview about the real me. Simple words, yet I was able to expand them as they are my description. And I am particular that whatever path that I'll take after many years, I will still be me. A person who is reliable and unstoppable. I want to end this by saying that I'm always driven by an inner fire that keeps me moving forward.
